Many companies approach ISO 27001 as a one-off project that ends with a stamp. In practice, though, it's an information security management system – a way of keeping track of what you're protecting, what risks you face, and who's responsible for what. The certificate is the outcome, not the goal in itself.
For a company, it means concrete work across departments: defining the scope, describing assets, assessing risks, putting measures in place, and backing them up with documentation that reflects reality. Without involving management and the people who actually know the systems and processes, you end up with documentation detached from practice – and both the audit and your customers will notice.
In the webinar, we'll walk through how implementation usually unfolds, what the company has to provide itself, where the most common snags arise, and what a well-designed system brings beyond the certificate – from clear responsibilities to smoother customer audits.
